A very good movie about friendship, it is so much childish but worthy to watch and must see… as what the cartoon movie quoted “you are what you choose to be”

teardrops on my guitar

•August 4, 2008 • Leave a Comment
Drew looks at me, I fake a smile so he won't see
That I want and I need everything that we should be
I'll bet she's beautiful, that girl he talks about
And she's got everything that I have to live without

Drew talks to me, I laugh cause it's just so funny
That I can't even see anyone when he's with me
He says he's so in love, he's finally got it right,
I wonder if he knows he's all I think about at night

[Chorus:]

He's the reason for the teardrops on my guitar
The only thing that keeps me wishing on a wishing star
He's the song in the car I keep singing, don't know why I do

Drew walks by me, can he tell that I can't breathe?
And there he goes, so perfectly,
The kind of flawless I wish I could be
She'd better hold him tight, give him all her love
Look in those beautiful eyes and know she's lucky cause

[Repeat Chorus]

So I drive home alone, as I turn out the light
I'll put his picture down and maybe
Get some sleep tonight

He's the reason for the teardrops on my guitar
The only one who's got enough of me to break my heart
He's the song in the car I keep singing, don't know why I do
He's the time taken up, but there's never enough
And he's all that I need to fall into..

Drew looks at me, I fake a smile so he won't see.

fortune or blessing??

Perception is just a state of mind and its actuation can only be realized through senses. Seeing things what we have called grace, smelling the freshness of mornings, tasting the goodness of life, hearing melodious sound of nature and feeling the warmth of love are too much idealistic… to good to be true but possible… that is based on my own experience…

Man doesn’t have both everything and nothing. He may possess not all things but was not unfortunate to have nothing. It is depend on the appreciation of a person on things he has and not on things he does not have. He will be really upset if he will compare himself with those well-off than him. Well in fact, he is more privileged than those inferior to him. And if he wants to get superior over other, he himself must do necessary action not just by sitting and waiting for graces to come. There are so many blessings granted yet not noticed because human eye always seek for what is lacking. Physically, he can improve his body. Mentally, he can study through books or by experience. Psychologically, he has to overcome his own disorders. And most importantly, spiritual matter in which can only be improve through communication with God or man’s considered Creator and through the reading of the book of life called the bible.

It is true that a man, in order to distinguish the difference of things must at least have knowledge of things being distinguished. How can he possibly know what is good if he doesn’t know what is bad, true or false, in existence or perception, innocence or guiltiness, or any other opposing value that may or not coexist?

It is therefore, fortune depends on the perception (state of mind) of a person, and in his belief that he may not have everything but at least does not have nothing. Especially that he is aware that all things can or not exist one at a time. He must feel contended with what he has or find ways to get better. All needs thorough understanding.

in life,

if you are intelligent,

you are admired.

if you are wealthy,

you are envied.

if you are powerful,

you are feared.

but if you are blessed with a good heart,

you are remembered….

WAG ng MAKELAM?

untitled.jpgi just have finished reading the “alamat ng gubat” by bob ong.. it was a funny story book.. nakakatuwa kc madaming drawings at malalaki ang font..

but what really matters here was the lessons i got from the book..

human right discussion on burma

hope this entry would be published…

I just have finished reading a Burmese scoop and it made me draw in, while Burma nationals were deprive of their right basically in organizing a protest, us Filipinos were vested so must right that we didn’t  notice we’re the one who’s abusing it.

Burma as we all know, it is the largest country geographically speaking in the Southeast Asia under a brutal military regime of Senior General Than Shwe. The country was known cause of military junta that is world-class human rights abuser condemned by the UN every year since 1989.

Many more people were killed and detained in the violent government crackdown on monks and other peaceful protestors in September 2007 than the Burmese government has admitted. As stated in Burmese scoop of international news by press release Terry Evans (January 23, 2008, Wednesday), six labour rights activists have been handed down long prison sentences for their part in organizing labour rights discussions at the American Centre in Rangoon last May Day. Four of them were sentenced by Burmese authorities to prison term of 28 years and the other two received sentence of 20 years each. This is just one of many cases of abusive treatment of their government with their people.

Their foreign relation to other country was also affected by this kind of ruling. They have withdraw their partnership with some of the US and European companies because those countries were applying their foreign policy like the U.S. policy of imposing unilateral trade and investment sanctions against Burma though it has proven to be a failure that policy has harmed American economic interests and done nothing to improve the living conditions or human rights of the people of Burma. But as one of Burma’s biggest trading partners and closest diplomatic allies, China rejected the request of United States to step-up pressure on it. Hopefully because Burma is a member of ASEAN, other Southeast Asian nations were still willing to invest in the country.

But which of the two diplomatic strategies would resolve the problem concerning human rights in Burma? Being an ally and provide a constructive assistance or a challenger that impose sanctions?

I believe that the military government of Burma should address this matter focusing human rights of its nationals. They should be the one who advocate for peace in their own country instead of being cruel to its people. Definitely, military form of government would not help to resolve the problem with its people so as to its economy as well.

upside down

what good is being in love? if it will just turn you upside down?
During_lunch_nov2203_1 “real happy moments are true if you only believe that it was..”“i need you before, i love you now, and i will be with you with all of me for the rest of my life”“A promise that was made and are meant to be broken.. it was just all fantasy.. happy endings only happens not in reality..”

“but i will still hold on and never give up.. until you said so that it was the tym for me to let go..”

I’ve been spending some time, thinking i’d be alright
Don’t know if I could really make it tonight
Lie awake in the dark, come down then I start
Thinking about you is almost breaking my heart
I don’t know where I went wrong, or what’s going on
Baby, I fell like our love’s lost tonight
Should I stay, should I go? Well, I really don’t know
Lately I’ve been missing you so
[Refrain]
Baby, you don’t understand our love lies lost
But you’re still holding my hand
Oh and then you walk away
Just tonight, I want you to stay
[Chorus]
You’re turning me on, you turn me around
You turn my whole world upside down

Everytime I hurt you, well it’s hurting me too
Don’t know if I could really stay here tonight
Tired of thinking of you, I never think that you do
Tell me what am I supposed to do
Well, I just wanted to say that I need you today
Tell me it’s all gonna work out alright
I don’t know where I should I start
But with all of my heart
Baby let me be your lover tonight

[repeat Refrain and Chorus]

Oh you know, you turn me upside down
You know, you turn me upside down

[repeat Chorus]
